Utilities
As outlined in your lease agreement, each unit is provided with trash collection, as well as basic cable and internet. Guests must pay for water, sewer, electricity, and gas. Utilities for which the guest is responsible (energy/water/sewer) must be put in the guest's name before move in and must remain in the guest's name until the end of the lease term unless a replacement is found.

MidAmerican supplies Electricity and Natural Gas to each high efficiency apartment. To start service call the number below. If you are transferring service from another location and have set up an account with MidAmerican online, you can transfer service when logged in to your account.

Cable & Internet
For your cable and internet needs we have worked closely with Mediacom to provide each apartment with its own cable and internet connections. Upon move in you will receive a Mediacom modem to use during your stay. If you would like to set up a wireless network you will need to provide your own wireless router. Unlike other apartment complexes, each apartment in the 808 on 5th neighborhood is provided with its own connection that you control.
Mediacom Cable
Each unit comes with its own basic cable package including over 100 channels. When you connect directly to a digital signal capable television, you have access to Mediacom's Digital Ready Local Plus TV, HD Local Plus TV, and Family TV packages (most channels from 16.1 to 119.2). If you require an analog to digital converter for your TV you will receive channels from 2-127. For channel listings click here. If you would like to upgrade, please call the number listed below.
Mediacom Internet
Each unit comes with its own 15 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload cable internet connection free of charge. If you would like to upgrade, you will be responsible for the difference in price, though you will still have access to promotional offers from Mediacom. Working closely with Mediacom has enabled us to provide you with every tier available including up to 1 Gbps, fiber speeds, For upgrades please contact Mediacom at the number listed below and let them know you are an 808 on 5th resident.

Trash & Recycling
The City of Coralville
Trash and Recycling collection are provided as part of your lease agreement and collected by The City of Coralville. Dumpsters and recycling bins are located behind each building in the lot. Please keep these areas tidy and close lids when not in use.
*Please note, The City of Coralville collects cardboard, metal, paper, and plastics. Glass must be taken to a local recycling center. Glass recycling locations are listed below.
